The campsite
Camping du Bas Meygnaud: a ‘petit paradis’ for holidaymakers looking for peace, space, unspoilt nature, service and hospitality. The campsite is located in the Dronne valley between Brantôme and Bourdeilles. The campsite has only 50 very spacious pitches with sun and/or shade, rental of chalets, mobile homes and fully equipped safari tents. After a walk, bike ride or excursion in the beautiful surroundings, it is wonderful to take a refreshing dip in the spacious swimming pool (6×12 m) and paddling pool (4×4 m). Near the swimming pool there is a small restaurant, bar with terrace, playing field, table tennis, jeu de boules, volleyball. The camping pitches are not really demarcated, which gives a relaxed atmosphere.

Facilities
The sanitary building has been partially renovated this year, clean and wonderful showers. Other facilities: washing machine, WiFi, small library and plenty of tourist information, “small épicerie”. Children can feed chickens and visit beehives. Directly from the campsite you can take countless cycling trips and walks, horse riding, canoeing, climbing, microlights. Bicycle rental at the campsite. In high season there is a daily bread service. You can also buy honey, free-range eggs and regional products at the campsite. We organize a live music evening once a week with local bands, a BBQ or tapas, and a few children’s workshops.

The campsite is located in a rural, wooded area with beautiful views.
